HOME DECOR TREND: CANOPY BEDS
As a child I begged my mother for a canopy bed it was what I thought was the ultimate place to lay my head and dream about my princess moment. However my mother was far more practical at the time and told me my bed was fine as it was and I would have to wait for that canopy bed of my dreams.
But now I’m all grown up the idea of the canopy still peeks my interest. With the updated designs now available its a beautiful option for the bedroom.
The canopy bed which speaks to the days of Queen Elizabeth was typically a four poster and featuring over the top heavily draped fabric on all sides, elaborate trim and tie back tassels. These were the top of luxurious interiors.
Today you can still go the traditional route but below are a few options that might work within your decor style.
