Hi, I’m Malissia owner and designer at Malissia Stephens Design.

I’ve always believed that great design is transformative. It’s ability to communicate a style or personality, and elevate a space from simple to spectacular, is just pure magic.

My design style can be best described as timeless classics with a curated twist.

I was born in jolly olde England then came to the US via the city that never sleeps, NYC.  This was were my love of fashion and design blossomed.  I attended Parson School of Design earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Marketing. Then pursued a career in Color & Trend Forecasting working for some of the world’s top U.S. and international brands.

After many great years of traveling the world for work but missing my family I decided to make the big leap and start my next journey as business owner. I’ve been so happy to take all my vast knowledge and expertise in color, pattern and design into the world of interiors. Working on projects with amazing clients and creating beautiful spaces together.

Being able to playing with color and materials to create beautiful livable homes for my clients is a dream come true!

My home base is in beautiful historic Annapolis, MD. Go NAVY!!! Where I enjoy spending my downtime with my husband and beautiful daughter. My other passions are cultivating our garden and trying to perfect the most difficult pastry recipes. Anyone heard of a Cronut?
